Australia-based Geshe, leading multiple courses online and in-person around the world. Fluent in English, Geshe-la’s teaching are rich in detail, profound in meaning, and accessible to the modern sensibility. Geshe-la is also a specialist in tantric ritual and practice, and has tutored us in pujas and practices.

Resident Geshe at Thubten Norbu Ling, Santa-Fe USA (where LTC also leads outreach classes). Geshe-la visits us each January, leading courses and ceremonies. He is especially revered for his crystal clear teachings on wisdom, and his gentle and relaxed manner.

Resident Geshe at our sister centre Chenrezig Institute, in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Geshe-la is beloved for his warmth and humility. He teaches through a translator, who resides in Sydney and will participate via zoom.

A revered Buddhist nun, residing in New York City, and dividing her time between book editing and lecturing around the world. Her presentation style is a dynamic fusion of clarity and passion, defying stereotypes and making Tibetan Buddhism exciting, accessible and immediately applicable to Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike.

Venerable Kartson

Registered FPMT Teacher and Translator
Ven. Kartsön was born in Israel and met Buddhism in his mid twenties while backpacking in India. He left his job as a software engineer a few years later, and then trained as a Tibetan interpreter/translator. He was the resident translator at Chenrezig Institute for 17 years, and recently has been giving teachings and travelling throughout the world.

Glen Svensson

Registered FPMT Teacher and Retreat Leader
A graduate of the 7-year Masters Program in Advanced Buddhist Studies of Sutra and Tantra. Glen teaches and leads retreats around the world. His clear and structured teaching style helps to illuminate in-depth Buddhist philosophy in a highly accessible manner. Glen is also a tutor for B. Alan Wallace retreats.

Eddie Peet

Leading classes at LTC in Buddhist philosophy and practice since 1996. Eddie’s vast life experience brings a poignancy and depth to the teachings. He has been leading the Discovering Buddhism series since it began in 2002. Widely read in many traditions, he is perfect to ask for a curated reading recommendation!

Miffi Maxmillion

Registered FPMT Teacher
The Spiritual Program Co-ordinator of LTC, leading beginner’s courses, short retreats and pujas since 1998. Miffi grew up a Buddhist, and is the daughter of the founder of LTC, Inta Mckimm. With a background in circus and costumes, Miffi lends a contemporary flavour to both Buddhist psychology and ritual ceremonies.

Venerable Lozang Lhagsam

An FPMT Basic Program graduate (5 years full-time study and practice), Ven. Lhagsam has been associated with LTC since 1995. She leads meditations and short courses, and offers spiritual care for the dying.

Venerable Lozang Trin-la

Meditation Leader
A nun for over fifteen years, Ven. Trin-la leads regular meditations at LTC, and hosts weddings, funerals and baby blessings. She also lavishes us with delicious vegetarian food on special teaching events!

Carolyn Mason

Discovering Buddhism graduate, leads short courses and meditations. Carolyn served on the LTC Committee for 10 years, and won the centre many grants for both Buddhist projects and ongoing maintenance of the centre.

Linda McDonald

Linda has a gentle, clear, and no-nonsense approach. She brings a natural interest and insight to the teachings, helping newcomers to connect in a meaningful way. With over over a decade of meditation practice, study, and retreats, Linda anchors the theory in clear explanations and lived experience.

Helene Holland

Artist in Residence
Helene hosts regular art workshops, enthusiastically guiding and encouraging all regardless of artistic level. She is skilled in painting, drawing, and sculpture. She brings a depth of symbolic knowledge and a detailed knowledge of traditional Tibetan art techniques.

Demi Kehoe

Long-term Buddhist student and mother of two, Demi has been leading meditations and family classes at LTC for over 10 years. She has a passion for Nyung-nes, and sharing and demystifying the rituals used in Buddhist daily practice.

Corey Jackson

Course Presenter
A degree in Psychology and Sanskrit plus more than twenty years studying and translating Buddhist philosophy from Tibetan to English. These days he works as a meditation teacher, emotion and stress management coach. Before any of this, he was a jazz pianist in Toronto, Canada.

Andy Weber

Course Presenter
Internationally renowned artist
Andy Weber spent seven years living and studying the iconographical art of Tibetan Buddhism under the guidance of accomplished masters in India and Nepal. With over 40 years of experience his work can be seen in Buddhist centres and temples throughout the world including the Potala Palace in Lhasa.

Venerable Losang Tsultrim

Course Presenter
Master of International Studies majoring in Peace and Conflict Resolution, and trained counsellor. She brings a wealth of Dharma knowledge and compassionately clear and no-nonsense approach to often complex issues.

Jill Shaw-Feather

Certified and Accredited Yoga Teacher
Jill has been teaching the last 15 years, sharing yoga with local community, group and private classes, schools and wellness centres. She specialises in mindful movement, breath and intention practice, as well as how to surrender into the healing of yoga Nidra.

Kellie Ulyate

Certified and Accredited Yoga Teacher
Kellie began yoga to help her breath and for stress reduction when she was experiencing some health challenges. Her interest led her to training in Vinyasa, Yin, Meditation and Restorative yoga. She has been enjoying sharing the practices with others since 2020.
