(ONLINE) Short and sweet to end the week! Tibetan Buddhist meditation that can purify negative actions, destructive speech and disturbing emotions, and reveal the innate and blissful purity of the mind. Combined with the Four Opponent Powers, we can effectively purify imprints left on our mind by past negative actions. Itโ€™s a perfect way to end the week โ€“ clean and clear.

This guided meditation will be of special interest for all those undertaking the Ngรถndro program under the expert guidance of Geshe Zopa. The practice we use is the pocket booklet composed by Lama Zopa Rinpoche. Itโ€™s easy to follow, with this pocket purification, we can clean up our karma without a secondโ€™s delay!

โ€œWe have planted the seed of Refuge, but in order for the seed to grow, you need to clear all the weeds, the obstacles of past negative karma, and any limitations to future potentials. To do this you need the preliminary practice of Vajrasattva purification to prevent negative karma from multiplying.โ€

Geshe Tenzin Zopa

Practicing this at the end of the day is an unbelievably powerful method. It makes your life very light and easy and keeps you happy and peaceful insideโ€”in your heart and in your inner life. Furthermore, it purifies not only that dayโ€™s negative karma but also that created in this life from the time you were born and in all your previous lives as well.

โ€œโ€œTo put an end to our samsaric suffering, we must do two things: One is to purify the negative actions weโ€™ve done every day of our lives and in our infinite previous lives as well. We also have to change our minds and actions and abstain from creating further negativities.โ€

Lama Zopa Rinpoche

The class includes a guided meditation and chanting, a screenshare to help with visualisation, and a display of the mantra to make it easier to recite. There will also be time for informal Q&A and to clarify any aspects of the ngรถndro as we go.
