Corey Jackson
Corey blends science and Buddhist wisdom to help people find calm and clarity. His PhD integrated Buddhism and psychology to explore the underlying causes of anxiety and depression, building on a foundation that includes a degree in Sanskrit and Psychology from Sydney University—where he was awarded the Khyentse Foundation prize for excellence in Buddhist studies—and more than twenty years studying and translating Buddhist philosophy from Tibetan to English. Comfortable in both research labs and mountain monasteries, Corey’s work sits at the intersection of scientific and contemplative traditions. He studied Tibetan language and Buddhist philosophy in India, has worked as a Tibetan-English interpreter in both India and Australia, and now teaches meditation and coaches people in emotion and stress management. His approach is grounded in a deep understanding of the relevance of ancient wisdom in the modern world. Before all this, Corey was a jazz pianist in Toronto, Canada.
