Heruka Vajrasattva Tsok

(HYBRID) Offering tsok draws us closer to the guru, purifies broken samaya, and energies our practice. Everyone is welcome to join this short yet profound ceremony โ across the pixels of light โ to create a joyous and strong group karma.
Over and over again we have been advised: actualise the lam rim, develop realisations in the heart. The yoga method of Heruka Vajrasattva has the power to purify all negative energy, which is the main thing preventing you from actualising the path.
โThe real meaning of experiencing tsok is the transcendental wisdom, non-dual great bliss โ the wisdom of emptinessโฆ and uniting these two. That is the very essence of tsok. It is the offering of that experience, and oneself experiencing it, as the guru deity. The real meaning of tsok is integrating method and wisdom, the transcendental wisdom, non-dual bliss and voidness (this is the secret meaning).โ
Lama Zopa Rinpoche
Tsok means โgatheringโ. By gathering together to offer tsok we are making space. When the right space opens, realisations come as if magnetically attracted. Tsog is much more than a simple gathering โ it is actually a profound space created by mind, where practitioners, dakas and dakinis are invited. The word โgatheringโ is just the outer shell of the profound meaning of tsok. Even if some of us are gathering across the digital divide, in our heart we gather together the things weโre offering, and offer across space and across time.
We chant the beautiful Tibetan tunes, make offerings and praises, and recite the 100 Vajrasattva mantra โ a profound method to meditate on emptiness, the ultimate purification. This is a relatively short puja, so we have ample opportunity to make dedications and catch up with each other afterwards.
โWhen you feel that you cannot meditateโthere are too many interruptions, you cannot do anything, you cannot solve your problemsโremember that there is something else you can do to remove obstacles to your progress: purification, such as Heruka Vajrasattva Tsok.โ
Lama Thubten Yeshe
There will be an opportunity to make personal dedicationsโfor friends and family, the sick and vulnerable, the end of all wars and the healing of the planet. We will also dedicate for success in our Dharma aspirations and the health and long life of our gurus
