All-night Tara Puja

Annual all-night practice to remove obstacles and bring success for your Dharma practice. similar to the regular Tara Puja, but with optional prostrations, circumambulations, mantras for each of the Tara’s, and unlimited chai tea! Come for just the first session, or stay for the whole night!

Shakyamuni Buddha Puja for LOSAR (Tibetan New Year)

Join us for a joyful ceremony to bring in the Tibetan New Year. Held during the 14 special Buddha days, beginning with Losar and ending with the Day of Miracles, where the merits are multiplied millions of times. It is a great day for spiritual activity, making offerings, and setting  a positive course for the coming year.

HH Dalai Lama Birthday Movie, Cake & Plate

Celebrate the birthday of HH the Dalai Lama with a short movie, birthday cake, and a light vegetarian super. Bring along your favourite vegetarian dish and share the recipe. Tonight is His Holiness’ birthday, so we will celebrate with singing his long life prayer and special dedications over the birthday cake!

Mindful Families Celebrates Buddha’s Birthday

All families are warmly invited to our re-designed Mindful Families event. This year the kids will create their own ‘stained glass’ style Buddha window silhouette! So come along and enjoy the elephant loaded with offerings, a short meditation, animated DVD about Buddha’s life, bathing the baby Buddha, singing happy birthday and sharing cake afterwards.

Sangha Soiree

A special celebration to honour our LTC nuns, as part of the International Sangha Day celebrations. The venerables Lhagsam, Drolkar, Tongnyi and Trin-la will all be present for the soiree, and we have invited Khensur Rinpoche and the nuns from TKSL in Spring Hill as well! Bring a plate to share.

Buddhist Open Day 2017

Bring your friends and family and discover your local Buddhist community. Highlights include: public talk with the Tibetan Lama; guided tours, free Buddhist books; mindfulness meditations; family activities and prayer flag making; question & answer, and blessings with holy Buddhist relics.
