(HYBRID) Ring in the New Year with Mountains of Merit! Losar—the Tibetan New Year—is one of the most auspicious and joyous days on the Buddhist calendar. Begin the year by creating powerful causes for a flourishing future: offerings to all the Buddhas, heartfelt dedications, and aspirational prayers.

Geshe Sherab will guide us through the puja, illuminating the deep meaning woven into each verse, and showing us how to meditate on these most special offerings.

In this short yet profound ceremony, we’ll chant the beautiful Tibetan melodies, make offerings, and recite the 100 Vajrasattva mantra—a transformative practice for purifying the mind and meditating on emptiness.

At the heart of this practice is tsok, the “gathering.” But tsok is far more than a simple meeting—it’s a sacred space created by mind, where practitioners, dakas, and dakinis are invited. Even across the digital divide, we gather in spirit, offering across space and time. Physical offerings on the altar draw us inward, toward the offerings of the mind, opening the door for realizations to arise like magnets.
