Symbolism of Prajnaparamita – Andy Weber

Discover the unique symbolism in the depictions of Prajnaparamita, the wisdom of all the buddhas personified in the form of a female deity. In her upper left hand she holds the heart sutra, her right hand holds a nine-pronged vajra, symbolic of the nine paths to enlightenment. Her middle hands are in the gesture of meditation indicating that only through meditation can the ultimate wisdom of reality be achieved. World-renowned Tibetan thangka painter Andy Weber returns to Australia to give an evening talk as the introduction to the weekend workshop.
