Brightening Your Inner Clarity: A mindfulness meditation & yoga course that brings together the path to inner clarity of body and mind through meditation and yoga. Go at your own pace and progressively build up your own regular practice. The meditations will be lead by Ven Khadro, the yoga by Annie McGhee. This weekend is part of their national tour of Australia.
Bookings are essential as we have limited places! The course is divided into three sessions (morning, and two afternoons). Come to just one session, or attend all three (for a discounted package). Each session is comprehensive, with both guided meditation and yoga components. All three sessions $120, or $50 for one session.
- Session One: Saturday 9 am – 12.30 pm
- Session Two: Saturday 1.30 pm – 5 pm
- Session Three: Sunday 1.30 pm – 5 pm
Guided mindfulness meditations will be focused mainly on the breath, gradually moving to being mindful of mental activity and moving even more subtle inwardly to being mindful of awareness of awareness. This course will allow participants build up a regular practice and introduce mindfulness into their daily lives.
The yoga will offer a perfect counterbalance of dropping into stillness of “being” rather than “doing”. This type of yoga allows the observation of moment-to-moment awareness discovering a sense of openness and acceptance. Several types of pranayama (breathing exercises) will be explored and asanas (yoga poses) will be hold for slightly longer creating greater sense of calmness and flexibility of the body & mind.
