Vajrasattva Purification
Friday 20 October @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Short and sweet to end the week! Tibetan Buddhist meditation to purify negativities and mistakes, transform guilt and regret, and reveal the innate and blissful purity of the mind.
Enjoy a guided meditation that can purify negative actions, destructive speech and disturbing emotions. Combined with the Four Opponent Powers, we can effectively overcome destructive habit patterns, and purify imprints left on our mind by past negative actions. It’s a perfect way to end the week – clean and clear!
The Vajrasattva meditation and chanting practice helps us to connect with the innate purity of our mind. It includes a guided visualisation, integrating the four opponent powers, and chanting the 100-syllable mantra.
Enjoy practicing together either in the calming ambience of our meditation hall, or in the online community of pixels of light. If you are coming in-person, you will be able to take the practice booklet to take home.
“The best solution to purify the karma of having depression is to do the purification practice of Vajrasattva. As long as the karma isn’t purified, you’ll continue to suffer from depression again in future lives.”
– Lama Zopa Rinpoche
“To put an end to our samsaric suffering, we must do two things: One is to purify the negative actions we’ve done every day of our lives and in our infinite previous lives as well. We also have to change our minds and actions and abstain from creating further negativities.“
Lama Zopa Rinpoche
