About Tibetan New-year Dinner
Losar dinner in Tibet is traditionally celebrated with a soup made of nine ingredients. In the soup are the Tibetan version of “fortune cookies” with nine different items hidden in the dumplings. You can foretell your coming year by what item you find in yours. Tibetans from the local Brisbane community will be making this special soup for us, and we will have chai tea later in the night.
