Workshop held once every few years.
A workshop on everything you ever wanted to know about Tibetan Buddhist ritual but were afraid to ask! Learn how to offer the long mandala – a joyful and extremely satisfying practice of building up the 3-tiered rice and jewel offering that represents a perfect world system. Also, discover how to set up your own altar and offer water bowls, and the meaning behind these activities. Practice both long and short prostrations and the visualisation accompanying this practice. Discover gompa etiquette, how to best respect the sangha.
We only run this workshop once a year, so don’t miss out! Bookings are essential at least a week in advance, so we can prepare enough practice materials for everyone. Participants receive a mandala starter set, comprehensive notes and access to the tunes.
If you have them, PLEASE BRING:

- 1kg bag of rice (‘fat’ rice, like Arborio)
- new 500ML jug (plastic is OK, with a good pouring spout)
- new tea towel

- BYO lunch!
