The perfect introduction to teachings with the Lamas, with hand-picked videos selected especially as an introduction to newcomers! Enjoy the peaceful ambience of our meditation hall, enjoy the teaching in a relaxed and informal setting, and enjoy informal conversation and delicious cake and coffee (or tea) afterwards with the LTC nuns.
If you have been wandering what the teachings with Geshe Zopa are like, or how to get started with them, or even wandering if you would be able to relate to them, this is the ideal opportunity for beginners to be introduced to Geshe-la’s accessible yet profound teachings. It is also a chance for more established students to reconnect with their Dharma family. It’s not often we get some quality socialising in, so take advantage of a spiritually sustaining Sunday afternoon!
This event is held monthly, and will feature teachings from different Tibetan Buddhist Lamas, including Geshe Zopa, Geshe Sherab, and short stories from Lama Zopa Rinpoche. The afternoon will be hosted by the Langri Tangpa Centre nuns. There is no need to be a Buddhist to come along and enjoy the day!
