Rinpoche’s “Inner Job Description”
Wednesday 28 September @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Where the Buddha and the workplace meet! How we can be in the world but not of the world, how we can connect people to the Dharma, how to most skilfully work through difficulties, how to inspire, and how all our communications can lead to the path to enlightenment.
We might say “we want more time for Dharma” but is this really Dharma? Is it study only, or is it applied study – are we able to use all our Dharma knowledge when it really counts – in the thick of it in the world!
This one-off class is especially useful if you are volunteering in a Dharma centre, or offering service to Rinpoche.
Based on a teaching from the Buddha on the “Four Means of Drawing Disciples”, we explore practical methods to communicate, the do’s and don’ts of right speech, using real-life Dharma centre scenarios to flesh it out.
We will also begin work on our individual Dharma Development plans – mapping out our goals on the path to enlightenment, keeping track of our Dharma milestones, and rejoicing in our efforts so far!
