Special chants and ritual praises to strengthen our connection to the Dharma and dispel interferences, distractions and obstacles. We chant the prayers in Tibetan, and practice using the traditional instruments as shown to us by Geshe Zopa. Suited for those with a a background in tantric practice.
Most suited for in-depth practitioners with existing practice commitments, but open to all. As we are relatively new to this practice, we envisage that in 2017 we will learn the tunes, the meaning of the praises, and how to use the musical instruments correctly. This may mean that we do a prayer several times until we get it right! Participants will also be able take turns in making the ritual tea and rice ceremonial offering.
This practice is traditionally done on Tibetan 29th, Protector Day. By donation (suggested $10 but there is no set amount). No need to book, just come along.
