Cultivate a peaceful, calm mind, with guided mindfulness meditations for both established students and complete beginners. Discover how to set a comfortable posture, practice mindful breathing, and enjoy simple calming meditations.
In the peaceful ambience of our meditation hall, be guided in several short, relaxing mindfulness meditations where you will be led through a range of meditation techniques to help you develop a rewarding mindfulness practice.
Each class includes a relaxing body scan, dissolving of tension, breath meditations and mindful awareness. There will also be time for questions and discussion.
The second meditation will be on topics like spacious mind, body of light, mind like the ocean, mind like the sky – all simple yet effective methods to help deal with stress, overcome disturbing emotions, and calm the mind.
This is an ideal class for beginners to mindfulness practice, as well as a welcome top-up for established practitioners. There is no need to be a Buddhist to come along and enjoy the meditation!
