Mindful Families

Being ‘Super’: What it really means. Since all the kids are being heavily influenced by Marvel Superheroes & heroines, we want to use this opportunity to really dig into what exactly Supers are all about and what values they represent. Being Super often involves have Superpowers so in this mindfulness session, we will brainstorm our own superpowers such as patience, courage and focus. We will also be designing our own super costume to represent the family values we hold dear and use everyday. Join the family fun with these special activities for children 4-8 years and their parents.

This afternoon includes art activities and meditations the whole family can do! We all know how hectic modern family life can be – which is why Mindful Families is such a valuable opportunity for Brisbane families to slow down, reconnect with each other, and introduce a whole range of positive values to enrich your family life. Mindful Families helps children (aged 4-8) to develop skills which help them to be happy. We encourage and develop mindfulness and kindness in children by exploring ethical principles such as respect, responsibility, gratitude and honesty in a fun and relaxed way through meditation, play, discussion and arts & crafts. Mindful Families welcomes families from any or no faith tradition.

No booking required, just come along! BYO water bottle. Because the classes are a family event, children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
