Sunday 30 September:
• Mindfulness – intentional breathing and mindfulness meditations can help us reduce and manage our stress and negative reactions during challenging times, increase our level of relaxation, and enjoy life’s small pleasures more
• Loving kindness (“metta”) meditation – sending kind thoughts towards yourself and others can help us become more resilient to challenges and stress, increases our connection with others, makes us happier and feels good
Saturday 13 October:
• Transforming unhelpful habits – when we become aware of unhelpful attitudes and behaviours and visualise new ways of responding, we can start to overcome bad habits and encourage positive habits, creating a more joyful and easeful life
• Cleansing, overcoming guilt – visualising light or applying the Four Opponent Powers (a simple, psychological process) helps us to let go of problems and mistakes from past unskilful behaviour, and replace them with constructive ways of thinking and behaving, and develop our natural good qualities
