We offer a special Vajrasattva Tsog to celebrate the anniversary of Lama Yeshe, traditionally held on Losar (Tibetan New Year). Losar is one of the most auspicious and powerful days of the Buddhist calendar, and a great way clear out the old from the past year, and create mountains of merit for the year ahead! Traditional Tibetan tunes and chants, offerings, chai tea and Tibetan New Year dedications.
Lama Thubten Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche founded the FPMT in the 1970s, and their organisation has grown to become a world-wide network of over 140 centres, hospices, publishing houses, animal sanctuaries and many other projects, around the world. Lama Yeshe passed away on Losar in 1984, and this is our opportunity to strengthen our connection with his teachings.
