Lamrim Express: DEDICATIONS, Rejoicing & Party
Tuesday 12 December @ 10:30 am – 12:00 pm

We will be dedicating and rejoicing today! After 4 months of listening, reflection and meditation, we will gather all this goodness and wisdom up and offer it for the benefit of all sentient beings. Appreciating your efforts, and rejoicing in your altruism makes it stronger, doubles the merit, and sets us up for all future success – including enlightenment!
After dedications ‘Rinpoche style’ we will share lunch together – so bring a plate to share if you can. If you have been coming along mostly online – this is the class to try to come to – we would love to see you in person!
This is also our chance to thank all the senior students who led us in the various topics – often leading a class for the very first time! Sharing their Dharma journey, insights, and drawing on personal experience, it is this very human element that brings the lamrim topics alive.
The book Lamrim Year is an essential guide for meditators who want to develop their mind in the graduated path to enlightenment (lamrim). In these Lamrim Express classes we are embarking on a shared journey into this unique study program, with classes led by Eddie as well as long-term LTC students. Over the course of four months, participants will be able to gain comprehensive insights into the various stages of the path, and support each other in applying this wisdom to daily life.
“The mind is very powerful. Therefore, it requires firm guidance. A powerful jet plane needs a good pilot; the pilot of your mind should be the wisdom that understands its nature.”
– Lama Thubten Yeshe
“It is great that even before we become enlightened or generate any lam-rim realizations we are able to offer incredible benefit to others. The person who does this is a very fortunate person and should rejoice very often.”
– Lama Zopa Rinpoche
