Nurture the powerful potential for spiritual growth with a ceremony rich in symbolism. Reliance on our spiritual teacher is the foundation of all spiritual progress. The prayers include calling the lama from afar, lineage prayers, re-taking one’s vows, and Tsog offering.
In the puja we pay homage to the lineage lamas and their vast qualities, using the traditional Tibetan tunes that are said to come from the dakinis and bless one’s mind-stream. They carry a power and blessing in themselves, moving both the heart and the mind.
You will also have the opportunity to make personal dedications for the well-being of friends and family, for the sick and vulnerable, for healing the planet, for the success of your studies or a project, or your Dharma aspirations.
Held on the Tibetan 10th and 25th each month. This epic (3 hour) version happens only rarely, usually when puja day falls on a weekend. Lengthy yet profound – this puja is a joyous spiritual celebration!
If you are coming in person, remember to BYO water bottle, warm socks and a shawl, and your ritual implements (if you have them). If your plans change and you are unable to join us on the night, please email us for a zoom link so you can still be involved. We will be offering many cups of tea throughout the ceremony to keep us going throughout this special event!
