Geshe Zopa: Words of Inspiration
Monday, 14 June 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pmDonation
Two teachings from a Buddhist master on practicing the Four Immeasurable Attitudes: loving-kindness, compassion, empathic joy and equanimity.
This teaching is offered by donation. Your generosity means we can continue to host events such as this, and that we can make an offering to Geshe-la on your behalf.
Discover how to practice the Four Immeasurable Attitudes of loving-kindness, compassion, empathic joy and equanimity. These universal qualities are essential for creating harmony within the family, in the workplace, and between countries. As human beings we all have an innate potential to develop the universal qualities of kindness and wisdom. Be inspired by the efforts of dedicated practitioners, and encouraged by what we can achieve with dedication and practice in our own life. The Four Immeasurable Attitudes are skills we can all develop – there is no need to be Buddhist, or even religious, to appreciate their great value and enjoy their benefits.
We welcome back Geshe Tenzin Zopa for two evenings exclusive to Langri Tangpa Centre. Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy inspiration from an authentic Buddhist master! This event is ideal for those curious about Buddhism, beginners and in-depth students alike.
Ask your questions on the night, either directly or typed into the chat. For example, how to avoid compassion burnout; how to focus on compassion without getting depressed; or clarification on details of breath meditation and tong-len.
