Jill’s classes are a blend of gentle asana (postures) and pranayama (breathwork) and deep relaxation. Her flowing style allows you to work with your breath and awareness to your own limit, and find your own edge, working as deep as you feel comfortable.
A range of asanas will be offered in each class; beginning with a gentle warm-up sequence, working through standing and floor poses, and ending with deep relaxation. You will experience stress/tension release and leave feeling deeply relaxed.
The class is suitable for people of all levels of fitness. The yoga style is similar to Hatha Yoga. Variations of asanas will be offered to suit beginners through to more experienced practitioners.
By practising yoga we benefit our body through improving flexibility and strength, and decreasing physical discomfort and pain. We also learn how to listen, trust and nurture ourselves, and how to become more aware of our body, our mind and the present moment.
