Geshe Tenzin Zopa (tour postponed)

Please accept our sincerest apologies for this very late notice, however, we need to advise that the teachings by Geshe Tenzin Zopa scheduled for 28 and 29 July have been postponed until early 2019. Geshe-la is called unexpectedly to an important meeting in India and also to receive teachings from HH the Dalai Lama.

Buddhist tantra is rich in symbolism, and unique to Tibetan Buddhism. Discover how it differs from Hindu Tantra, and the unique features of this lightening fast approach to enlightenment. Find out about the four different categories of Buddhist Tantra, who can practice them, and where the practices we are most familiar with, like Chenrezig and Manjushri, fit in.

Connecting with the tantric deities, aspects of enlightened energy, can bring utmost meaning to your life and utmost benefit to others. However, misunderstanding the underlying principles of renunciation, boddhicitta and correct view, and how they support tantric practice, can lead us into difficulties. Find out how to decide which practice is ‘for you’,  and what the criteria for entering the tantric path is. Topics include:
