Chenrezig Meditation
Tuesday 28 November @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm

As the end of the year draws closer and the pressures of cyclic existence intensify, there’s no better way to slow down than to sit with 1,000-Armed Chenrezig. Join Demi Kehoe as we gently meditate on Great Compassion, under the many compassionate hands and loving guidance of the buddha of compassion.
Chenrezig, the very embodiment of all the Buddha’s compassion, is a great practice whether you are a beginner or someone who has received initiation into this practice.
Week by week, we will pacify, enrich, and magnetize all the resources we need to benefit everyone around us, and dispel both outer and inner hindrances to ensure our inner stability for the Christmas season and the year to come.
This practice is especially useful for anyone curious about the practice of Nyung-Ne. The sadhana we are using was adapted by Venerable Thubten Chodron from the FPMT Nyung-Ne practice, and if you have already done Nyung-Ne retreat you will be familiar with the details and inspiration in this practice.
“The real practice of Dharma, the real meditation, is never to harm others. This protects our own peace of mind and that of other beings. This is the true religious practice; it brings benefits to both others and ourselves.”
– Lama Zopa Rinpoche
