Drawing on Buddhist psychology, we examine the nature of happiness and what brings lasting peace. We also discover how to best structure our day so we make the most of our time. In this way we naturally become more peaceful, confident and focused. There is no need to be a Buddhist to benefit from these methods – they have a universal application and can be used by anyone, regardless of belief! Topics include:
Session 1: Happiness & goal setting. What is happiness? Buddha identified three types: hedonic, eudemonic, optimal flourishing. By identifying these we can begin to cultivate both immediate and long-term happiness, peace of mind, energetic joy.
Session 2: Daily Strategy for Enlightenment. Using the five powers, we can structure our day to make the most of our time. These five powers are: motivation, positive imprints, familiarity, repudiation and dedication. This strategy can bring the very best results, all the way to enlightenment.
