The Guru Bhumtsok for 2019 will be held in newly-renovated Buddha House in Adelaide in November. This national puja, led by Geshe Tenzin Zopa, is held especially for His Holiness the Dalai Lama who is facing an obstacle year. It will also be dedicated to the long lives of Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche and all our precious Gurus. It will be a free event with delicious breakfasts and lunches generously offered by Buddha House. Sponsorship is raised to host the Geshes and sangha who attend and for the Tsok offerings and puja costs.
The puja will commence on the Friday evening 15th November and finish late afternoon Sunday 17th November. There are many accomodation options nearby.
FPMT National Office Australia is following the specific advice of Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche, who is encouraging this Guru Bhumtsok be dedicated especially for the overcoming of any obstacles to His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s long life and health in this obstacle year. We are therefore hoping that many people will attend from across the region, and will join the FPMT family for this special weekend event.
Geshes, nuns and monks from all over Australia participate in the Guru Bhumstok, and your help is greatly appreciated in raising sponsorship to cover as far as possible the cost of accommodation, food, local transport and flights for our precious sangha.
