Geshe Tenzin Zopa 2017

6 months of teachings from a Buddhist master

We are very excited to announce that Geshe Tenzin Zopa will return to Langri Tangpa Centre for public talks and weekend courses. Geshe Zopa ia an extremely popular teacher and writer whose tour last year with Phuntsok Rinpoche was so warmly remembered by all who had the good fortune to meet him. He is fluent in English, and will be teaching on "A Wise Heart for the Modern World".

Protector Prayers

Special chants and ritual praises to strengthen our connection to the Dharma and dispel interferences, distractions and obstacles. We chant the prayers in Tibetan, and practice using the traditional instruments as shown to us by Geshe Zopa. Suited for those with a a background in tantric practice.

Buddha's Birthday Family Pageant

Mindful Families invites you and your family to celebrate Buddha's birthday with us. The highlight of the day is decorating the 6-tusk elephant and leading it into the gompa with the children's procession! There will be storytelling, mantra recitation, birthday cake with the nuns, sweet tea and bath offering to Baby Buddha.

Sutra Recitation for Rinpoche

Join a community recitation of the Heart Sutra and the Diamond Cutter Sutra, dedicated to the health and long life of Lama Zopa Rinpoche (practices advised by Khandro-la for us to do this year to remove obstacles). The recitation helps to purify ones' speech, calm and harmonise the mind, and bring the blessings of the Buddha's wisdom.

Guru Puja

Medicine Buddha Puja

Cittamani Tara Puja

Arya Tara is a manifestation of compassionate activity. She is known as the mother of all the buddhas, as she represents perfect, ultimate wisdom. This ceremony is particularly helpful in removing obstacles, help in emergencies, resolving conflicts and energising stagnation
