Geshe Tenzin Zopa 2017

6 months of teachings from a Buddhist master

We are very excited to announce that Geshe Tenzin Zopa will return to Langri Tangpa Centre for public talks and weekend courses. Geshe Zopa ia an extremely popular teacher and writer whose tour last year with Phuntsok Rinpoche was so warmly remembered by all who had the good fortune to meet him. He is fluent in English, and will be teaching on "A Wise Heart for the Modern World".

Protector Prayers

Special chants and ritual praises to strengthen our connection to the Dharma and dispel interferences, distractions and obstacles. We chant the prayers in Tibetan, and practice using the traditional instruments as shown to us by Geshe Zopa. Suited for those with a a background in tantric practice.

Fire Purification Puja

Offer any mistakes of the year, all your problems, illnesses and regrets to the fire. Guru Puja

An offering ceremony to make the mountains of merit needed to sustain a strong relationship with the guru. This is the special devotional practice of the Gelugpa tradition. Done mostly in English, with the usual chai offering and individual dedications.

Medicine Buddha Puja

Praises and offerings to Medicine Buddha, the Great physician who can liberate us from all the sufferings of cyclic existence. This popular puja is sung entirely in English, and enjoyed Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike. If you have never been to a puja before, this is the one to start with!

Cittamani Tara Puja

Arya Tara is a manifestation of compassionate activity. She is known as the mother of all the buddhas, as she represents perfect, ultimate wisdom. This ceremony is particularly helpful in removing obstacles, help in emergencies, resolving conflicts and energising stagnation
