About the catalogue

The books are are organised into catagories (meditation, emotions, art, mind, etc) and these are reflected in the online catalogue and also on the actual shelves. This makes it easier to just browse the shelves in a section you are interested in. You can also browse the same catagories online, and toggle to the 'gallery' veiw to browse by cover (so much easier with the pictures!)

Write a book review!

We invite you to write a review of your top 5 books or your favourite DVDs. There is nothing like a personal recomendation to help you find your way through the wealth of Dharma books out there! Somtimes it can be a bit overwhelming just knowing whee to start. If just hald our members did this we would have over 400 reviews to enjoy!

Just push the 'review' button at the bottom of the book listing, a write us a short paragraph about why you liked the book. Don't be shy! If you make a mistake or want to add to your review, just submit another one, and the librarians can edit and collate them for you before they are uploaded for everyone.

How long can I borrow books for?

  • up to 3 books for one month ...and
  • up to 2 videos for a week

You must be a financial member of LTC to borrow books from the library and to view the online catalogue.

Return due dates will be recorded in the front of the books. We generally leave it up to the individual to keep track of their own borrowing time, but we do send out reminders once a book becomes overdue. If you want an extension, just ask (email is the easiest, or tell us at class). If there is no-one else waiting for the book, no problem.
