How to Meditate (Discovering Buddhism)

What is meditation for? How do I sit comfortably? Where do I start? And what can I do about sleepiness and distraction? Learn how to set up an effective and enjoyable meditation practice.

Practice basic meditation techniques. Learn the definition and purpose of meditation, how to sit properly, how to set up a meditation session, the different types of meditation techniques one may employ, and how to recognise and deal with obstacles to meditation.
