A special all-night practice that includes chanting, circumambulations, offerings and prostrations. Come for the first session (much like the regular Tara puja), or stay for the whole night! The practice is similar to the regular puja, but with extra prayers, mantras for each of the Tara’s short sutra recitations, and almost unlimited chai tea! There is no danger of falling asleep as there is so much to do!
Everyone is welcome! Bring your mandala set and mala. Wear comfortable clothes to sit and prostrate in, and bring warm socks. If you have an HYT initiation, bring your ritual items. Suggested donation $20/$10 (for offerings)
Tara, the mother of all the Buddhas, is a manifestation of compassionate activity. She is particularly helpful in emergencies and difficult situations. This puja is very powerful in protecting from contagious diseases, natural disasters, seemingly intractable work or relationship problems, violence and war. If you cannot attend any of the puja, you make an offering and a personal dedication and we will include it in each session.

Session 2 (9.15 pm – 11.45 pm)
